Dr. Archana Verma

Dr Archana Verma is a scientist at ICAR–Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur, India, with over 13 years of research experience in agroforestry and forestry. Her research focuses on arid zone agroforestry, tree improvement, nursery management, ecosystem services, carbon sequestration, litter decomposition, and sustainable land-use systems. She has published 32 research papers, 10 book chapters, and 25 technical publications in reputed national and international journals. Dr Verma has received several awards for her research contributions and actively advances the development of climate-resilient agroforestry technologies to enhance productivity, environmental sustainability, and farmers' livelihoods in arid and semi-arid regions.
