Biography

Dr. Heiplanmi Rymbai is a Senior Scientist (Horticulture–Fruit Science) at the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, India. As Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator of 26 research projects, he has released 05 horticultural varieties, developed 10 elite genotypes/rootstocks and 07 production technologies, conserved 329 horticultural germplasm accessions, and secured IC numbers for 29 accessions. He has published > 106 research papers and edited 05 books. He has supervised 06 postgraduate students and serves as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, BMC Plant Biology, Discover Plants, Discover Agriculture, Frontiers in Horticulture, and other reputed journals.
