Dr. Rohit Chaudhary

Dr. Rohit Chaudhary is an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Sciences at the College of Forestry, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his PhD in Wildlife Sciences from Aligarh Muslim University. His research focuses on the ecology and conservation of large carnivores, particularly leopards, with emphasis on habitat use, movement ecology, prey selection, human–wildlife interactions, and conservation in human-dominated landscapes. He has more than 14 years of research experience and has authored over 33 peer-reviewed publications. His current interests include large carnivore ecology, spatial conservation planning, and developing evidence-based strategies for conserving large carnivores.
