Dr. Obaid Ecological Zaffar

Dr. Obaid Zaffar is serving as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at ICAR–National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR-NDRI). He specialises in Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. His research focuses on farm mechanisation, energy auditing of agricultural production systems, agricultural biomass engineering, and livestock mechanisation. He has conducted energy audits of agricultural cropping systems in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, evaluating energy use efficiency and resource optimisation. Dr Zaffar has published more than 17 research papers in NAAS-rated and impact-factor national and international journals, authored two books, and one patent. He actively presents his research at national and international scientific conferences regularly.
