Biography
Dr. Andra U. Collins is an Assistant Professor in Workforce Education and Leadership at Alcorn State University, where her research focuses on agricultural education, workforce development, environmental and community resilience, STEM education, and applied social science. She earned her Ph.D. in Career and Technical Education from Auburn University and has more than 20 years of experience in agricultural education, natural resource conservation, and leadership development. Her interdisciplinary scholarship integrates qualitative and mixed-methods research, community engagement, food systems, precision agriculture, and environmental data literacy to address workforce and sustainability challenges. Dr. Collins actively collaborates on national and international research initiatives and is committed to advancing rigorous, impactful scholarship.
