Dr. Basana Gowda G

Dr. Basana Gowda G. is currently serving as Senior Scientist (Entomology) at ICAR-National Research Centre on Pomegranate, Solapur, Maharashtra. His research examined how sublethal pesticide exposures influence host insects and parasitoids. His work linked fundamental insect toxicology with practical, field-relevant biological control strategies. Currently, he is focusing on sustainable pest management in pomegranate through novel-mode biopesticides and chemical ecology. Dr. Gowda aims to develop safer, ecologically compatible and field-deployable pest management technologies for pomegranate production.
