Biography
Dr. Dinesh Govindaraj Kamalam is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences at the College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, India, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India. His research focuses on ecosystem services, carbon farming, conservation agriculture, soil carbon sequestration, climate change mitigation, and sustainable land management. He serves as a Lead Author for the IPCC 2027 Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), and is an External Reviewer for the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report (AR7). Dr. Dinesh has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and actively contributes to scientific publishing and international research collaborations.
