Dr. Joydeep Mukherjee

Dr. Joydeep Mukherjee joined as Assistant Professor in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in October 2001 and presently working as Principal Scientist in ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Dr. Mukherjee is a well-known Agrometeorologist of India. He was recipient of Fellowship of Association of Agrometeorologists in 2022. As Principal Investigator/ Co-PI, he handled 12 research projects funded by ICAR, DST, ISRO, world bank and private industry. He has guided 14 M.Sc. and 2 Ph.D. students. He has published more than 132 research papers in national and international journals. He has also authored 4 book, 15 book chapters, 21 popular articles and 2 teaching manuals.
